About RSA
Lifelong dancer and shuffle enthusiast Sabrina, also known as @rebelindustry began hosting shuffle classes back in 2018 when she realized there was a need for instructors to rise up and offer their knowledge on the ever-evolving style of dance called shuffling.
With an intense passion for shuffle paired with the love of electronic music and festivals, she knew that she would be in it for the long haul. Sabrina possesses an extensive dance background in many styles of dance, providing a background for her role as an educator. Her in-depth teaching methods are usually described as inspiring, thorough, and digestible. She has touched the lives of many with her enthusiasm for the dance, continuously spreading her magic through movement. Forming Rebel’s Shuffle Academy, her mission was to serve and provide superior education to the world through a multitude of masterclasses and courses.
Over the years she has been equipping herself with knowledge from many community members across the globe ranging from USA, Canada, Australia, Spain, and the UK. She has taken multiple courses, workshops and classes to advance her skills as both a professional dancer and educator. In 2023 she spent a month abroad training with industry experts in Barcelona, Spain to provide depth to her teaching methods.
Currently at the Academy we are able to service Complete Beginner to Advanced levels, ranging in styles from Melbourne, Cali, Malaysian, and the sister style Cutting Shapes. Class offerings include both Freestyle and Choreography options, with a variety of different topics, concepts and themes that will keep you inspired, motivated and push creative boundaries. Being one of the most versatile Shuffle Academy’s in the world, we pride ourselves on the expansive and in-depth offerings available.
Over the years RSA has grown tremendously in student base and therefore in employees as well too! Our team consists of 2 Senior Instructors Sabrina and Sam, and our Social Media and Community Manager Carlie. Excellence in service is at the core of everything we do and we always strive to be inclusive, providing a judgement free atmosphere where everyone is welcome to explore their passions.
We currently host classes in Downtown Toronto on a weekly basis, along with monthly meetups and social events for our community.
